Mountainous framing of the Fergana Depression. Stratotype in the Tashkumyr section, S. Fergana. V.V. Kurbatov, V.I. Troitsky, 1999. Used in the working scheme of the Triassic and unified scheme of the Jurassic of Uzbekistan (A.I. Kim et al., 2000).

Lithology and Thickness
Dark gray claystones, polymictic sandstones, bauxite-like rocks. Thickness up to 10 m.
